Why this exists.
Nigel Waywell, Founder & CEO
After 30 years as a program member, lead, and turnaround lead, a pattern became clear.
Programs don’t fail because of bad people, nor from a lack of effort. They fail because complexity overwhelms communication. An overlooked deliverable in month two results in confusion, frustration and delays in month six. Conflicting stakeholder goals surface only when it’s time consuming and politically costly to adjust. Resources are assigned without understanding what’s actually required.
Gantt charts, spreadsheets, status report templates, all useful in their way, but alignment and integration become full time jobs. Getting true value to identify intervention requirements in realtime is almost impossible in a sea of unconnected data. Delivery Precision releases leadership from data collection and analysis to focus attention and provide support to the right individuals and activities.
The architect and the conductor.
My professional career has been spent working in, leading and advising large scale transformations. Program leads are the individuals that I have the utmost respect for. The vision with Delivery Precision has been to put a set of tools into their hands to release them from administrative burden to focus on the important. Setting the vision, focussing on the impact, inspiring great work. Successful delivery is all about great teams. Having the capacity to spend time with people at the right time, on the right things, makes for the very best of days.
